Somebody's Angel Project

The Somebody's Angel Project is founded on the idea that small acts of kindness can make a big difference in the lives of the individuals we encounter and that, though we are imperfect, we can each reach out and touch one person in need and, indeed, be their angel.

The Somebody’s Angel Project has partnered with the Nonprofit Sector Foundation to raise funds for over 80 Nonprofit Sector Foundation Affiliate Members.

Funds will be raised through creative, innovative projects involving the “Somebody’s Angel” single, and from the red carpet release party proceeds where 70% will be donated directly to Affiliate Members.

"Somebody's Angel" is the debut single by Deluzional Records’ musical artist Katey Darling. A key component of this release is the compelling music video which features the stories of 15 strangers, as each impacts the life of another and a string of inspiring events unfolds.

  Here's what's required of  Somebody's Angel Affiliate Members:

• Help promote the single
• Play the Somebody’s Angel video on the Agency website homepage included with link to donate & download
• Inclusion of information in newsletters and other Affiliate Member agency communications including social media (if applicable)
• Distributing download cards at events/locations

Sign Up to be a Somebody's Angel Project Affiliate Agency!

We are requesting your contact information as an online application for our Affiliate Member program for participation in this project. We won't sell or share your contact information.

How to generate revenue:

1. Nonprofit Sector Foundation will distribute 70% of proceeds of the single’s downloads to its Affiliate
   Members (AM). AM's will receive the full 70% of proceeds directly donated from their website downloads.
2. Angel Tree – Using the “pay it forward” method, AM's can use $5 or $10 batch of eCards and sell the downloaded single as a fund raiser and receive 70% of the proceeds
3. Event Performance – AM's will receive 70% of proceeds from donations brought in at live AM fund raising event performances (subject to availability)

To become a Somebody's Angel Project Affiliate Member:

1. Fill out the form below
2. Pick a membership level and submit payment or promissory note (if fees are a challenge)
3. Work with NSF staff on completing the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
4. Implement next steps per the MOU immediately
